Meeting, June 18, 2002

 

Present:  Paul Connolly, Raphael Herz, Jeff Phillips, and Linda Wollschlager

Absent:  Phil Verzani

 

The meeting was called to order by the chair at 7:12 PM in the Retirement Board Conference Room, Third Floor, Town Hall. The notice for the meeting had been sent to the Town Clerk for posting on April 1; the agenda had been sent on June 14.

 

Minutes of the June 13 meeting were approved as written.

 

Committee members reported on their review of the By-Laws, Articles 60 to the end. Identified items were added to the list of items awaiting review by the committee.

 

The committee considered all remaining items in the Awaiting Review table, including those added earlier in the meeting. Most items were scheduled for ongoing review. But, for the following item, the committee voted unanimously to take no action to change the designated section:

 

By-Laws, Art. 60, s. 8.6. Remove sentence pertaining to "at the passage of this bylaw."

 

The chair welcomed the offers of members to coordinate with the Town administration to learn if the provisions of certain by-laws are aligned with current practice:  Mr. Herz with various officials on license fees relative to Article 42.

 

The meeting adjourned at 9:20 PM.
